  
This Cardinal edition was the 15th printing of Profiles in Courage, published in 1961. The book was written by JFK as a freshman Senator in 1954 and 1955. The book profiles eight great men who showed integrity in doing what they felt was right, including John Quincy Adams, Sam Houston, Daniel Webster, and Robert A. Taft.
